SQL (Structured Query Language) is a common language resembling programming languages, which can be used to define the database structure, insert, retrieve, modify, and delete database data, and generally control the operation of the database management system.

At the same time, the section delves into the features of database management systems. We will get to know, among other things, transaction management and how database management systems handle concurrent operations on the database.
